Copy A Product
Copying a product will create an exact duplicate of the product you select and let you give it a different name. This will save you time entering information about a product that is nearly the same as another product. By copying it, you can make a copy of one product with a new name and then change the things that are different.
To copy a product, go to the costing system and click the Manage Information tab. Then click Copy a Product.
From the Copy a Product page, simply select the product you want to copy from the dropdown list labeled Select Product to Copy.
Then in the field labeled New Name (required) enter the name you would like to give to the new product.
Click the Copy button to finish.
When you have finished, the new product will appear in the list of recent products.
By clicking it you can make any changes you'd like to the new product and the original will remain unchanged.
